Gene family analyses

We currently analyze the complex evolutionary history of ITS paralogues and potential pseudogenes in Linderniaceae. We also cooperate with Claude dePamphilis (Penn State University, USA) on developing tools to efficiently detect and visualize historical signal from large gene family datasets. Gene families with hundreds of members have become a common target since data from an ever growing number of genome-scale sequencing projects are available.
